elcome to the Albemarle County, Virginia, Adult Education Web Project!

We are a group of international English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) students who have been working as a team to learn about how we, and others in our situation, can successfully integrate into the American community and learn to navigate the system more easily.

We have studied various aspects of American civic life and want to share this information with the wider ESOL community in the Central Virginia area. We hope that this website will help to educate and inform you about the many services and opportunities available to you.

Moving into a new community can be an exciting, but sometimes difficult, adventure. With the help of this website, we hope that you will be able to avoid some of the difficulties. Those of us lucky enough to have participated in the Web Project have benefited so much and it is now our turn to share with you what we have learned.
